The Filter Signs Agreement With Internet Video Archive

Internet Video Archive (IVA), the world’s largest distributor of online previews will be using The Filter’s Relevance Platform to power recommendations on its Video Detective site.

IVA offers companies such as publishers, retailers, developers and device manufacturers  the facility to quickly add entertainment trailers to any screen; its clients include BarnesandNoble.com, Flixster, Comcast, Fandango, Zvents , and Sony Bravia.  Its consumer website, VideoDetective.com, features all the latest titles plus an extensive library of trailers for movies dating back to 1903.  VideoDetective plus the IVA Affiliate Network reach a potential audience of over 300 million fans.  IVA has delivered over 3 billion plays since inception.

As well as signing a Joint Marketing Agreement with the content giant, The Filter will enable it to provide relevant recommendations to its users in order to deliver greater engagement and satisfaction. Personalising such a rich array of videos will allow The Filter to help millions more users to enjoy the content they love at the right time, in the right place, and in the best way possible.

My name is David Maher Roberts. I have been involved in digital media for 15 years. First as publisher of .net magazine, .netDirectory and Connect back in 1997, then as Publishing Director of all of Future's games magazines (e.g. Edge, PC Gamer) and websites (including GamesRadar).
